The class meets just inside Prospect Park, on the path that begins at Ocean Avenue and Lincoln Road. We'll be under the horse chestnut tree across the road from the bathrooms.

As we set off from our meeting spot, we cross over the road toward the bathrooms and make a left walking on the path into the park. After crossing East Drive at the traffic light, we stay straight on the path as it starts to slope downhill toward the tunnel. Through the tunnel we go, then we head left toward the boathouse, passing it on our left. We often stop to sat hi to the ducks where there's a pavement beach; then we bear left uphill and across the wooden bridge with the waterfall below. Our classroom is straight ahead under the tall London Plane trees, with the Nethermead meadow stretching in front of us and the old copper-roofed bandstand behind us.
