Meeting on the northern tip of the park, across from Grand Army Plaza’s majestic arch, families in this class will run across the gentle hills here at the end of the Long Meadow and spot chipmunks and other wildlife in the surrounding woods. The shaded classroom where we make mud and eat snack is just beyond the Meadowport Arch, a long wooden and stone tunnel where swallows make their nests and where we sing our songs of spring.
